Department of Zoology was established in 1964 and nurtured under the able guidance of Prof. J.P. Gupta and Prof.V.K.Aggarwal. Prof. J.P.Gupta served the department till 30th Nov 2012. After him Prof. V.K. Aggarwal became the head of the deptt.Unforunately the college suffered the loss of an intellectual professor who was efficient in teaching and had a good command on his subject, by his demise after a prolonged illness. Afterwards Dr. Vandana Kalra took over the charge of deptt. Of Zoology as HOD and made innovative endeavours to inculate scientific aptitude and keen inquisiveness in the students.

Scope Of Computers
The invention of the computer is one of the most remarkable innovations that have occurred over the last ten decades. The modern world is deemed digital, what most people fail to appreciate however it’s almost impossible to imagine that someone can live without computers. They have become an electronic device of almost every day use for individuals of every age, and essential in almost all the business dealings that are made nowadays.

Activities
Guest Lecture was organized in our college on 13 Feb ,2017 by Dr. Mansaf Alam Assistant Professor of Department of Computer Science in Jamia Millia Islamia. The topic of the lecture was Cloud Computing.
Quiz contests was organized by computer science department.
A parent-teacher meeting was held between the teachers and parents of students to discuss children’s progress and find solutions to academic or behavioural problems.
Parents Teacher Meeting is organized in computer science department twice in every semester.
Teachers Day is Celebrated every year in the department.
Science Exhibition is organized in our college every year. Students take keen interest and put up a very good show.
First-Aid Camp was organized to trained the student for self care.
Career counseling sessions are organized to help and advice students for specific career needs and goals.
Personality development sessions will help to learn in depth information about personality.
