Department of Physics

Physics is a way of Seeing -the spectacular, the immense & the minute – as a beautiful thrilling Interwoven world. Physics includes the observation of natural phenomenon in order to understand the working of nature.

Physics Department of the college was established in 1955. PG Department was established in 2008. The department offers quality and in-depth view on various topics of Physics to both B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. The department is proud to have highly qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty. The department has well equipped laboratories including latest experimental set ups. The department is growing day by day in academics, research and other related activities.

 

VISION OF DEPARTMENT

To impart knowledge  of Physical Sciences to students using the best human wisdom by modern skills and scientific gadgets so as to make them innovative and creative. Along-with this knowledge we also   inculcate moral and social values in such a way that each one of them may play an important role in nation building.
