GGD SD College, Palwal was established in 1955 in Haryana State. Commerce faculty was inaugurated by Sh. Bhajan Lal, (Ex C.M of Haryana) in July 1982 and Ch. Narayan Singh was the principal of the college at that time. In beginning Dr. B.D. Gupta and Dr. R.C. Dehra were initially appointed as faculty.At present,our department is offering B.COM(Voc) , M.COM and BBA courses.
The B.Com is a comprehensive course of 3 years. The Commerce Programme include diverse subjects like communication, accounts, management, marketing, managerial skills economic, banking, Law, etc. Along with this the students of commerce are exposed to Seminars, Individual and Group Discussions, Case Study, Report Writing, Viva-Voice, Industry Visit etc which helps the students in developing their personility.
