Women Cell in College has been active since its inception and has grown to become an important part of intellectual and cultural activities for overall personality development of students. The cell handles issues related to women welfare

Lets work together to promote gender sensitization.

  • To motivate and sensitize the youth to respect both the gender and eliminate gender disparity.

During this session we organized a activity in which a guest lecture was arranged for discussing “Health and Hygeine”. The lecture was given by Dr.Manju goyal (Gynacologist).she interacted with the student and faculty of the college and enlighted them with various facts and misconception.

Women Cell handle issues related to Women safety, education, health , personality development , etc. as encourage, enhance and empower, is the motto of Women Cell of our college.

Keeping this in mind a number of programmes was organized. Some of the noteworthy were guest lecturers related to the topic, “Women & society on 27th sept .2013, 30th jan. 14 & international Women day on 8th march 14. In all these programmes large number of students actively participated.some girl students rendered poems related to the girl child & women, which touched the heart of all present there . They also spoke on various issues elating to women in the society. All lady proffessors actively participated in these programmes. They enlightened the students with various fact s and misconception.

Worthy chief guests of these functions inspector Women Cell Ms. Seema single & protection officer smt. Suman choudhary provide empathetic counseling environment to create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination , legal rights ,safety etc.



During the session 2014-15 Women Cell conducted useful and relevant activities for students on issues related to woman, thereby increasing their awareness. A lecture is delivered on communication skills by Ms Bharti Kukreja on 22ndAug,2014 keeping in mind that communicationskills have become very important in the present age of competitive field. A talent hunt show related to Fine Arts was also organised by Women Cell and Fine Arts committee of college. A lecture on awareness about cervical cancer and other women health related issues was organised on 9th march,2015 to celebrate International Women day. Ms. Sapna Jindal and Dr. Sadhna Gupta were invited to speak on this occasion. These programmes of Women Cell were successfully organized on a large scale due to full cooperation of our worthy Principal Dr.M.K.Arora, all staff members and active participation of students.



During session 2015 - 2016 Women Cell under takes a variety of activities to promote womens empowerment and awareness .

The Women Cell function with the following purposes_To equip the female student,s faculty & staff members with knowledge of their legal rights.

To assist female students in overall development of their personality . To help them in raising their voice against all kinds of discrimination .To enhance their participation on an equal footing in all areas.To promote intellectual and cultural activities for over all development of student . keeping above purposes in mind various function were organised. Student were encouraged to take part in an art living programme "A life skill training workshop " Which was held in punjabi Dharamshala, Palwal. A programm was organised related to "Beti Bacho Beti Padhao " Abhiyan under the guidance of Bharatiya yuva morcha of Palwal district. A Rangoli & mehndi competition was held under SVEEP activities programme (systematic voter"s Education And Electoral Participation) on 19th oct 2015. Many girl students participated in this competition . Santosh of B.SC.ll,Manju of B.SC l (C.S) and Bhawna of B.COM. I were declared 1st,2nd & 3th respectively in Rangoli competition . Whereas shashi dahiya of M.sc.(p)Botany, Gita of B.A. I and Rachna Singh of M.sc (p) Botany were declared 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively in mehndi compitition. Santosh & manju were awarded district prize also for their performance in Rangoli compitition a part of SVEEP activities . Various interactive session (2015-2016) ended with celebration of international Women’s Day.

All these programmes were organized under the able guidance of our worthy principal Dr. M.K. Arora & due to full co-operation of Staff Members and active participation of Students.



During session 2016-2017, the Women Cell celebrated " International day for the elimination of violence against Women " on 25th nov . 2016.

In this function chief judicial magistrate(CJM) Ms.Mona Singh was the chief guest ,she interact our female faculty members as well as our girls student and make as aware from rules and laws regarding violence against women .

In this function Advocate Jagat Singh Rawat , Protection officer Smt. Suman Chaudhary and district Women Cell incharge also presented their views regarding violence against Women

Women Cell were also organising a "Women Health awarness " programme in context of "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao "on nov . 7 , 2016.
